Taylor's First Communion...

It was a big weekend in our house this weekend. We had lots to do a couple soccer games, cleaning, spreading mulch, mowing the yard, preparing lots of food but most importantly Taylor made her first communion. It was sooo very precious. She looked like an angel. All the children looked like angels. We were able to take communion together as a family which was awesome so we could be right with her for her first time.

Logan was a trooper it was a loonnggg afternoon to be in a tie and church was really hot. He slept through some of mass. David and I laughed because by the end his shirt was untucked his tie was loosened up and his cheeks were rosy red. It looked like he had a long day at the office.

After the mass we celebrated at our house with our families. It was a yummy yummy dinner. It was a long day and night but my sweet little girl has now made 3 sacraments. Confirmation is not for 5 more years and then the next one is marriage which I told her she had to be 30 to make that one :)

Really did I run that fast...

On Sunday David, 2 of my running divas (Lisa and Peg) ran the Dan Langdon Memorial Run. Kim sat this one out because her husband ran 15 miles to the race and then ran the 5k yes he ran 18.1 miles on Sunday. Dan passed away Oct 18th 2009 right before mile 12 of the Detroit half marathon. He was a runner and properly trained. It was super sad. His friends held this run in his memory to raise money for his family. I dug deep that who knows where it came from and ran my booty off. I took first in my age group and was the 6th women to finish. Peg took first in her age group too. Lisa is in a tough age group 35-39 year olds. I don't know what it is about that age group but the ladies are FAST!! It was a beautiful day...David finished with me for the first time ever (he usually kills me). He finished 6th in his age group too. So here is to Dan Langdon...

My baby girl is getting too BIG...

On Monday Taylor got contacts. Ahhh...where is my baby going? I am so proud of her to be able to put them in and take them out but it makes me kinda of sad she is growing up to fast :(....

Has it really been that long?????

Oh my oh my has been since November? I guess time flies when you are having fun! Christmas was so wonderful, although I did not take hardly any pictures :(. New Years was good food and good friends. I just thought I would post a few photos from maybe summer/fall. Hopefully it makes us all have wishful thinking that the warm weather is coming!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN....

HALLOWEEN WAS VERY FUN AND VERY COLD THIS YEAR. TAYLOR WAS KIT THE AMERICAN GIRL DOLL AT SCHOOL BUT THEN WAS A BLACK CAT AGAIN TO KEEP WARM. LOGAN WAS OF COURSE A MSU FOOTBALL PLAYER BC YOU KNOW HE IS GOING TO PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL THERE SO HE THINKS. HIS BEST BUDDIE SAM WAS A MICHIGAN FOOTBALL PLAYER. WE GOT AN ABSURD I MEAN AN ABSURD AMOUNT OF CANDY....

Labor Day weekend and First Day of School

I have been so busy but I am going to try to be better about posting. We had a great Labor Day weekend. We went to our favorite lake Higgins Lake with friends. Here are a few photos from that day and the first day of school. Yes I cried I was so worried about all day kindergarten for Logan and to my suprise he LOVES it. He said on Monday "I wish school was everyday of the week" He also loves hot lunch bonus for me....

One proud Momma....

This weekend Taylor played in the Dewitt Ox Roast 4 on 4 soccer tournament. It was so much fun good friends, good food and of course GOOD TIMES. Her team won all 4 games on Sat which gave them a direct spot in the championship game today. We were down 2-0 in the first half and Taylor drilled one into the goal, then she drilled another one into the goal so it was tied up 2-2 at half time. The other team went up 3-2 and again out of no where sissy nails one to tie it up 3-3. I was so proud of her!!! It went into a shoot out and our last player scored her goal and we won. We took first place!!! We beat an awesome team....So that is my proud momma moment!
