Just a few more photos....

Along with the last post Logan got a guitar I think he is going to be a total "Rocker". 2 pictures of our kids playing the Wii with their ipods on. Seriously....it made me laugh

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas everyone. I thought I would share who loved what this year. Lets start with Taylor--she got Bisquit the dog. It is a dog that sits, shakes, layes down, barks and whines..it was for both kids and they thought they died and went to heaven when they saw it this morning. The Wii was another Huge hit for both of them. Uncle Steve and aunt Kellie scored big with ipod shuffles. Both kids are in love with them. They listen to them constantly. Aunt Tori and Uncle Jim got big hugs from Logan for the race car that drives on the walls and ceilings. Logan opened it and kissed it immediatly. Grandma Schroeder got the BIG girls dangle earrings see the photo. T thinks she is 15....she looks like a doll in them. David got an edger for his most precious lawn so that was a big hit. I got biggby cards from my mom and dad ( sorry mom and dad I stole Davids) which are huge thing for me as well as an ipod docking station...music is on as we speak. We made out well but more importantly we have loved sharing the holiday with all of our family and friends. To all the family and friends away we miss you all like crazy and wish everyone a Merry Christmas....til next time...

A warm fuzzy make me smile moment....

We went to Otsego to celebrate christmas with my family this weekend. Sunday we were a little cooped up so we took the kiddies to see Santa.(yes in the blizzard warning papa is a good driver)
We never saw Santa, Logan was like uh no. We had the video camera bag along with my digital photo camera in the bag. Well along the way back out to the car my camera fell out. On Monday I got a call from a man in Mendon Michigan who said he thought he had my camera that he found it in the parking lot. At this point I did not even know it was not in the bag. I said how did you get my number. He said there was a photo of 4 boys in front of a preschool sign with the phone number on it. He zoomed in and called the number which is Logan's preschool and Mary Lou was there. He described all 4 boys to her and she called the parents. One of the boys dad new it was mine bc he remembered me taking the picture so Mary Lou called the man back who then called me. He sent it priority mail and it will be here today christmas eve. Can you believe it. He could have sold it on ebay or kept it. With all the junk that goes on in todays world there are still wonderful people out there. Bless that man...I started to cry bc there were so many photos still on my camera that I had not downloaded to my computer. So I decided to pay if forward and helped a young single mom out that I know by giving her an unexpected gas card...just think if everyone would pay it forward....just a thought....Merry Christmas...ck back tomorrow for christmas morining pictures....

Daddy brought home a Christmas present...

So today David called with great news. He bought the kids a snowmobile. Of course it was a great deal and the kids will be able to use for a long time. I said oh wonderful...he did turn the throttle down so it only goes like 7mph. After taking it for a few spins the kids are still a little to little for it. I think in a couple of years they will love it. Way to go daddy!! We pulled them around on a sled behind it and then played outside forever. It was freezing but we all loved it....good times...oh and yes we still have David's ski doo mxz 700 don't worry...

Just call me Betty Crocker or Domestic Diva....

I have been So busy today. We started with normal morning fun. I went to the gym which is always relaxing, fun and of course my adult socialization for the day. (Thanks Kim) Then picked Logan up from preschool that is when my day started....Meijers 2 hours yes 2 hours tons of grocerys. I will not tell you the final bill but lets just say I could not even make a peanut butter sandwhich here. Then home to make 2 yes 2 batches of no bake cookies. Then we rushed off to get T from school. She informed me her party got moved to tomorrow Thursday which put me into total get things done mode. I am suppose to bring fruit for 25 1st graders. David now has to bring it to the school at 2 along with the gifts for some school workers. (Which I was suppose to do on Friday but the teachers are worried that a "winter storm" is coming) So I had to make a double batch of hot fudge and a ton of pretzels with hershey kisses and m&m's on them. Along with making stir fry from scratch not a bag. Which leads to my wine....It is now 7:35 I am sitting down but getting up to bathe the babes and watch MSU go green go white...we love are spartys...

CHRISTMAS COOKIE DECORATING!!!

Taylor has been asking to decorate cookies so today while she was at school I baked the cookies and got the frosting all ready for when she got home. She was so excited to decorate. Logan got in on the action too. They are patiently awaiting 15 more sleeps until the big guy comes to our house....

Should we play house?

So I have been feeling under the weather and have neglected Logan on our Monday and Wednesday afternoon playtime. So today we went downstairs to play "dumptruck" "bulldozer" play. I was suppose to pick up the lincoln logs with the bulldozer and then dump them into the dump truck which then Logan went and dumped them. After trying to work the bulldozer he looked up at me with those blue eyes and said "mom would you rather play house you are better at that." I started to laugh and said "no buddy give me a minute mom will figure this out." Which I did...

No Pictures just something to say

Good Morning everyone...
Just wanted everyone to know that we got the call last night from Kami. It is official auntie Kami is getting married. Aaron took her to the place they had dinner at on thier first date. (In Ann Arbor) She was so excited. She called around 10:00 last night. We are so excited for both of them. I told Taylor this morning that Kami and Aaron were getting married and there was no response. I then told her Aaron gave Kami a diamond ring to wear. Still no response then I told her she could call Aaron "uncle Aaron" and her response was "why" OH BOY I thought. She is so excited Cari and Ed are getting married but she may need more time for auntie Kami who spoils every niece and nephew rotten more time to digest....lol....

David and I were sitting on the couch last night and I said you know neither of the kids look like me, do they? He looked and stared a bit longer and said "no" not really. Logan spitting image of David and Taylor I swear she looks just like grandma Susie.

Logan's Thanksgiving Feast

Today Logan had a Thanksgiving Feast at school. It was so cute. They did a little skit then had a "feast" of healthy snacks. They finished up with centers which the kids all love. David was able to make it to the last hour which Logan did not know he was coming...all smiles on his face when daddy walked in.

What are they doing????

So we had a very busy night. The carpet man came to clean the carpets which is always exciting for the kids, who knows why, then we went to swimming lessons which they love. Then we had to go to Lowe's to get tile for the back splash. The kids were starving of course because they went swimming so we took them to get a brownie sundae. By the time they got into bed it was 8:30. I was picking things up and preparing for tomorrow (a work day) when I could hear them talking. Instead of me yelling be quiet get in bed I went down the hall and this is what I saw......How could I even tell them to get to bed. Taylor reading to Logan all snuggled up. I wish they could stay this age forever....sweet dreams....

GIRLS ON THE RUN BRRR....

Today we went and watched our niece Kylie run her first 5k. It was FREEZING OUT to say the least but Kylie did so awesome. I am so proud of her. It was for the "Girls on th Run" organization. It teaches girls to make healthy choices, smart decesions and high self esteem. After the 9 weeks there is a 5k which they train up to having practice twice a week. It is such a great organization. Kylie you ROCK......

Soccer is over until April...

Soccer is now over for the fall. It will start back up in April. Both teams did great. I coached both teams so I am now a "Soccer Mom". It seemed like for 8 weeks Sat mornings were full of soccer games. If we were not at Tay and Logan's we were at friends and families games. It was so fun and the fall weather was awesome....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN....Taylor and I started the day with polishing our nails for Halloween which she thought was way cool. I went up to T's school for her party. The kiddies all looked so cute. It was so nice out the kids paraded around the playground with big smiles. Then off to see the kids babysitter, who is their mom when I am work, Karen. Karen has watched Taylor since she was 13 weeks and Logan since he was 8 weeks. It is defiantly their home away from home. Then pictures with Melissa the babysitter for weekends. Melissa too, is a god send she loves the babes so much and they love her. She is 17 and a senior (what am I going to do next year) she has watched them basically since she was 11. Melissa is Karen's daughter. Then it was off to aunt Kami's for trick or treating. I could not believe how warm it was. We started trick or treating and it was light out and we ended and it was light out. That is a first. We went total probably 10 houses and Taters wanted to hand candy out and Logan wanted to lay down. So after a very good toothbrushing with mom's approval and swish of fluoride rinse it is time for bed....
